A developer should be familiar with some program language. To use a mechanism of extensions a basic knowledge of C is required. To compile the downloaded source code C compiler and Motif/LessTif library are required.

TINS was developed using C language (GNU C) under Linux OS. It was tested on Red Hat Linux 6.0, Solaris 7.0, HP-UX 11.0 operating systems.  The current version is 0.91 and it's still under development. The author will be glad to provide reasonable support.
